Mental Health Awareness Week 2025: Supporting Minds, Strengthening Communities

ree

This Mental Health Awareness Week (May 12–18, 2025), we join the global effort to highlight the importance of mental wellbeing and reduce the stigma that still surrounds mental health.

At Central Clinic, we believe that mental health is just as vital as physical health. Whether you're coping with stress, anxiety, depression, or simply feeling overwhelmed, it's okay to seek help — and it's a sign of strength to do so.

The theme for this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week is "Movement: Moving More for Our Mental Health." Research shows that regular movement — whether it's a walk outdoors, yoga, dancing, or simply stretching — can have a profound impact on our mood and emotional resilience. Physical activity boosts endorphins, reduces stress hormones, and helps us feel more in control.

Our team of mental health professionals, including psychologists and counsellors, is here to support you. We offer personalised, evidence-based therapies in a safe, non-judgmental environment. Whether you're dealing with long-term challenges or recent changes in your life, we’re ready to listen and help you move forward.

Mental Health Awareness Week is also a reminder that we all have a role to play in supporting one another. A simple check-in with a friend, a kind word to a colleague, or taking time to listen can make a world of difference.

If you're struggling, you're not alone — and you don’t have to face it alone.

Reach out. Talk to someone. Move your body. Move your mind.

Let’s work together to build a healthier, more compassionate community.

Get in touch with Central Clinic to find out how we can support your mental health journey.
